Message to the Brethren

Hello Brethren

This last year has been one of triumph in the quality and quantity of new members who have joined our beloved Dennistoun Lodge, and a year for which you can all be immensely proud.

It was also a year of some turmoil in that after a sterling effort as Master for 3 years, Chris Devine Installed a Master Mason in the Chair – a further sign of our progress in rebuilding, only to have that person resign due to personal (non-lodge) problems a few months later.

Without a second thought Chris filled the vacuum this created and whenever I need to point out a true Freemason it is he to whom I turn. We all owe him a debt of gratitude, and while there are many senior members who have been responsible for the lodge’s success he deserves to be singled out.

To Mark and his new team we wish the best of luck in the full knowledge that they have already demonstrated the old adage, “The harder you work the luckier you get”
